Very soon after I picked up a camera for the first time, I fell in love with reflecting back on photos where such raw emotion was captured and time stood still within an image. This foundation was laid in high school after I joined the yearbook and I quickly found out my favorite place to be was behind a camera capturing these fleeting moments. 

I’ve always admired older things, from classical movies, to music, to vintage clothes. So, when I found my grandpa‘s old film camera when I was in high school, it felt like I had struck a piece of gold that I knew nothing about, but was extremely intrigued by. After a friend showed me the nuances of film photography I fell in love and my two worlds of capturing beauty and admiring the classic things came together and formed the most expensive hobby I’ve ever taken part in (lol).

When I’m not editing at my favorite local coffee shop, I’m likely enjoying time outdoors, good wine, and time spent with people I adore. I have a deep love for music of nearly every genre, but jazz and surf rock have been consistent favorites of mine. Going to concerts and seeing any form of live music is one of my favorite things to do. I recently ended my five-year career as a barista and my drink of choice is an oat milk cortado! I love playing chess, thrifting, and doing most anything with my lovely fiancé, Logan.
